I’m not pleased at all with all the havoc that the “new” camp host Julie creates. If you are working with the public you need be be a bit more sociable and less rude!!! Check in should NOT take a rocket scientist to count 16 days out!!! I’m wondering if an abacus 🧮 is needed? I can’t praise Denise, cleaning lady on the cleanliness of facilities. She is definitely an asset to the camp! The grass could be cut sooner than every two weeks. I would love to see some of the dead tree branches cut vs. falling on my camper. All tress need to be trimmed to avoid walking into down branches.

Just one small complaint. It is hard to get quality sites that are reservable because people are reserving them for 14 days when they become available then the cancel a lot of the days and keep the weekends. Should be a bigger penalty for canceling

As always, we enjoy camping at dam west.
We both noticed how clean the restrooms were. They are the cleanest of any public restrooms that we have ever used. You should be proud of how nice they are and please pass on the compliments to the cleaning staff.

We stayed 2 weeks at Dam West campground in August at Carlyle Lake, Had a wonderful time the camping host was great switched my spots for me to a first come first served so I never had to move and was on the water for the whole time, always treated with respect, and a Beautiful park, took our bikes for a ride every day and went out on the lake a few times to fish , they were doing some tree maintenance I was happy to see , we have a nice camper and would hate to have a big branch fall on it. Also the week we were there there was a make-up fireworks show going on from Carlyle on the lake what a bonus, we always love it there when we go . Thanks for a great memory!!
