Great location, right on the river and bike trail. Make sure to check out LeClaire IA and Backwater Gamblers ski show.

This is a small campground that is very nice. The water spigots are conveniently located and the dump station is convenient and very clean. Our site was level and plenty large enough for our 35' motorhome and our toad. There is a railroad track next to the campground but it is not heavily used and we never heard one pass by at night.
Our reserved site was occupied when we arrived but we were permitted to select any other non-reserved site, and there were plenty. There was a medium size puddle in the parking pad after a rain storm but it was not a real problem.
We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a tent site, and there was no place to park our car at our site. (Parking was available nearby.) The bathrooms with flush toilets were quite a distance from us; they were clean and well kept. There was water nearby, but it was in other campsites and getting it was awkward.

The woman at the office was very helpful and friendly. I felt welcomed.
It was a great, relaxing, and organized campground.
I suggest one possible change: to have a parking place AT each tent site rather than as a group NEAR the tent sites. That fits my needs better because I usually stay in the van rather than setting up a tent. I could ask for a regular site and not use the electrical hook ups if they are available for my next visit.

This was our first time camping here and we had a fun time. Only stayed one night, but it was quiet and comfortable. Plenty of space and shade. Bathrooms were ok, this would be my only critique. They could use an upgrade. Otherwise, a very nice experience.

We only tent camped here for one night at site 52. The campground was very clean and the host was super friendly. I really appreciated her letting us know the vault toilets at the end of the campground do not have a light at night, so she suggested we use the main ones if needed. We did walk down to the river to watch the sunset and it was gorgeous. Fortunately our campsite was right near the little parking lot, otherwise your vehicle was not at your exact spot. Not really a big deal, but always nice to have your stuff in your area. Would definitely recommend this campground!

The staff is amazing. Francis went out of his way and then some. I
Ran out of gas and he took me to several stations until I was able to get gas. It was at 11pm at night. I will definitely be back
