Great campground to stay at! Nice veiws of the river, walking path off the main road, very quiet sites, kept extremely clean! We will definitely stay here often when in town!

We only stayed one night as we passed through the area, but it was great. We came in and chose a site where we could see the river and dam and Locke system, which at night is all lit up and fun to look at. The campground is nicely treed with green grass. The spaces set far apart and level, with a picnic table and fire pit. I used the bathroom and showers and they were nice and clean and functioned well. We really enjoyed our stay in this quiet park. The nearby traffic and train tracks were not a problem at night at all. We would stop here again if in the area.

Tent campers beware - Fishermans Corner is not for us. The "Non Electric" sites are at the extreme end of the grounds, closest to a busy highway and train tracks. During our stay, there were no trains.
Sleep is not an option. We reserved two nights, but we left after one.
In the future, I will use Google Earth to see how close campgrounds are to highways, etc.
Yes, the grounds are well maintained. If you have an RV, this place is for you.

Fishermans Corner is accessible from Interstate 80 via IL State Route 84, which provides direct access to the campground approximately 1.5 miles south of the exit.
