Very nice campground. The price is great ($10.00) for seniors with golden age pass and the view is nice. The campground is along the Mississippi River.

Clean, quiet, and staff is friendly. Be aware that only the main bathhouse has the showers and flush toilets. Any other bathrooms around the campground are pit toilets. I would have picked a site closer to the main bathhouse if I had known.

Our stay was a quick overnight only. The campsite is very clean and well-maintained. Our reason for staying was to be in close proximity to the Twilight Riverboat in LeClaire. We were only a couple of miles away making an early morning arrival at the dock very easy. Highly recommend both the campground and the 2-day riverboat trip to Dubuque and back.

Friendly and efficient volunteer staff. Clean, large, concrete site on the river. Senior with National Park Gold Pass price $10/night, electric only. On our list to return.

Check out time is the same as check in time (4:00 pm) We showed up at 4:10 and someone else’s camper was in our spot without any sign of the campers! We went to camp host and they called the park Ranger. They had to call the folks that owned the camper to move it! About an hour and half went by and the guy showed up and moved the camper. We were discouraged to say the least! The park ranger called and said he was very sorry. To my surprise we got a refund of $10.00 for our inconvenience. I think if they changed check out to 2:00 they wouldn’t have this problem! The park was fine. The bathrooms were okay. The shower had a push button timer on it that had to be pressed for the water to run. It took about 30 times for an average shower! The bath house definitely needs updating. We had a generous campsite but the weeds were so tall that we could not see the river, this also was disappointing.
