Site #12, great water Lillypad view, grass area for walking the dog, shade trees. Camp hosts were very nice & welcoming. Park is fairly close to town but far away enough to not have much traffic noise. We were easily able to take in a few sights downtown including the John Deere Pavilion.

Beautiful spot for visiting the area. We stayed for three days and did not run out of things to do and see.
The sunsets are spectacular everyday. We visited the Rock Island arsenal museum, cruised around the river on the water taxi, climbed on big tractors at the John Deere pavilion, walked around the quaint little towns, and of course we went to antique archeology in Le Claire. All were free except the water taxi was 8 dollars to ride all day, get on and off all you want.

The camp host was exceptional and made us feel very welcome. He was visibly seen throughout our stay going through the campground checking things out.

We were in site 12. We had a beautiful view from our site.
We biked the bike trail right from the campground. We gathered with friends at the covered picnic tables by the bathrooms overlooking the river.

This is one of our favorite stops in Illinois. The folks are always pleasant and the park is always clean and that goes for the facilities as well.
