Simple campground. Small play ground, kayak rentals, access to hennepin canal and trail, on site laundry, dag park. Quite in early spring. Friendly staff. They do offer small cabin rentals and 1 glamping tent. Not a resort more primitive.

This was my first ever camping experience and I loved it. A beautiful area with a 6+ mile path, which me and my partner biked on and a few people were jogging there too. The little river next to it is nice, but I wouldn't say it's Kayaking friendly. At least not at one of the on-ramps. A bunch of thick moss, even saw a dead fish on top. In one area there's big lily pads. We still kayaked there, but we chose another river the next day. And from what my partner's dad said, the guy running the place is super nice. Quiet at night.

Also, there's wifi!

We had a fantastic stay here and couldn't be happier with the experience. The campground is extremely clean, quiet, and well maintained, with level sites that make setup easy. Bathrooms and showers were spotless and clearly cared for, which really stood out. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and always available to help, making check-in and the entire stay smooth and stress free. The location is peaceful yet convenient, close to town and trails, perfect for relaxing or exploring. Overall, it's a comfortable, well run campground that feels safe and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We stayed here on our way across the country. We found them accessible, friendly, trustworthy and easy. The campground was adjacent to a beautiful cornfield. The sites are level, we did not even have to unhook. Perfect for our overnight needs. I would highly recommend it for an extended stay or on your way across country!

This campground is in a great location. I heard this was a former KOA, which it did look like in layout and style. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Great location to the town of Geneseo and also about a 30 minute drive to the “Quad City” area. A nice quality about the site is that it has a canal and walking path, just a few yards from the campground. Many spots are nicely wooded, giving you shade if needed. If it was a KOA, the spots are a bit close together but not too bad as is typical of a KOA. The one thing you don’t have is freeway noise! Very quiet and restful. The campground was clean and well cared for and a nice play area for kids along with Kayak/Canoe rentals. I wanted to note, that we were camping here with a group, and it was nice to have use of their clubhouse We would for sure return if we were in the area.
