What Guests Are Saying
Blanding Landing is a well-maintained campground with clean restrooms and showers, friendly hosts, and a beautiful location along the Mississippi River. Many visitors appreciated the ample shade and recreational opportunities, such as a nearby boat ramp. However, frequent train traffic can be disruptive, especially at night, so light sleepers should prepare accordingly.

It wasn't crazy horrible but the trains were way loud during the night. It really seemed like they were laying on the horn excessively. Like almost on purpose, when coming past the camps...Other that it was ok.

As stated by other reviewers, the train traffic all through the night made sleep impossible in our tent.

The train is no joke loud all night comes by frequently!!!! Other than that bathrooms are great and clean. About 20-25 min from downtown galena. Big playground for kids. Boat access right there. We took our canoe around the island.

So very many trains went by during my stay. The track was right behind my site.

I would not call this park big rig friendly. All grass sites very uneven, downhill, uphill. Only electric which is fine. The road getting here was a nightmare. Hopefully when we leave we will find a better route out!! We followed our GPS, big mistake! Pretty place, just not worth the drive here!

Nice, out of the way campground. The COE always do a great job. Bathrooms are very clean, individual units with a toilet and shower in each one. Will be back here.
