Four Star Campground

Bait and switch. I called the day before arrival and was told it was a Good Sam campground at $40 per night. When I arrived, I was told that the person I spoke with had Alzheimers and that the price was $50. Whether the Alzheimers story was true (and I hope not), they should have honored the quoted price. We moved on to Illini State Park.

Well it's sad to say I loved my lot. We paid $800 we were there for a week so they made $600 off of us I was told that we were told when we came in no refunds we wasn't told that so make sure if you're going by the way if you don't know how long you're going to be there pay by the week. but you know what it's okay because that's the way of the world nowadays it's a scam everywhere you go it's a rip-off everywhere you go and If they can live with their self. So my mama used to say if they can live with it I can live without it would I recommend it no would I ever go back no.

I have been a resident for 5 years. I have a beautiful lot (40) with plenty of room for my dog Snoop. The management could not be any better or more helpful. With fishing, camping, and holiday celebrations, like 4th of July and Halloween make this place very special. Bad wishers need a hotel.

My family stayed here 2 months for work in the area. Full hookups. It's a huge campground, with tons of campers and trailers. Some long term, seasonal, and transient. They have a laundry room, shower & bathroom. There is a small arcade type room that we enjoyed while waiting on laundry. Vending machines. A security guard. There's a playground area, and a pond that we saw. We didn't get out too much, because of the snow, but we did feel comfortable here and I was happy with our stay. Thank you Four Star Campground!

Moved here from tameling campground due to unprofessional management and way to high electricity. It is the best move my husband and I ever did. My husband's a truck driver and needed to find a place open year round for our home time each month. They were not only friendly but very helpful as well. Such a sweet little town. Everyone waves to you. They have a pool laundry and fishing its pretty quiet in the evening and love hearing the cute kiddos out playing. They have 2 different play areas for the kids very family oriented. Love love love this place.
