Many guests enjoyed fishing and appreciated the clean facilities, including hot showers and well-maintained amenities. Everything started out great. Check in was easy, surroundings were great, other campers were great, staff was friendly! It wasn’t until we went to the pool. It seems they let people, entire families, or entire groups of individuals swim in their facilities without staying at the campground. The pool and pool deck was packed like sardines. They didn’t respect the campground pool deck rules and made the entire experience uncomfortable. Smoking and drinking excessively. Wouldn’t suggest staying with an entire family during peak months unless you wanna share space with 80 other people not paying to stay there.

Very nice overnight stay! A wide variety of sites to suit any kind of camping or rv was a big plus for us. There are many things for the children to do and they enjoyed fishing most. They were pretty easy to hook. We didn't have time to check out every feature, but we can see some are starting to look a little more tattered. Would just encourage the crew to really focus on maintenance to keep up this wonderful campground! Staff was very friendly and helpful and explained everything well, and they also usher you to your site. Friendly group of campers also!

Positives: Reserved a lakefront tent spot. Awesome view of the lake. Several activities for the kids to take part in.
Negatives: Mini golf was cheap looking and the jump pad was way too hot to go on. Front staff seemed to want to focus on smoking and looking at their phones, then assisting their customers. Seeing the owner walking his Dachshund without a leash. Seeing people having their dogs jump into the lake. We brought our two dogs and we're bummed when we found out they couldn't swim. Then you see people breaking the rules which really bothered us. Just like people at the pool smoking and eating food at the poolside. Way too small of a pool. Rules were definitely not enforced. Showers are enclosed but still in an open hallway that is labeled as unisex so we didn't feel comfortable with our kids being near others. Fishing in the lake with all of the allergens busted 3 out of 5 of our rods because of the gunk building up. Lastly, it's close to an airport and a logistics company. We got terrible sleep! Folks just need to do research on the location prior to booking. We are guilty of that ourselves.

Overall, it was an okay experience but definitely not as exciting as it was promoted on the website.

Nice retreat spot. Good poll, with splash pad, and a giant jumping thing for the kids and a park. Fishing was good, had lots of stuff to do in the park as well as in the area. Beware snakes, we saw them every time we went fishing. Good ammentities and was able to do laundry while the kids and hubs were in the pool which made it soo easy and enjoyable. Good machines worked great rhe first time. They had trash pickup during the day and were always out and about fixing and maintaining and very friendly. Definently a great resort. Would return. Fairly centrally located and was easy enough to go do sight seeing and all the touristy thing. Would recommend and would return.

From check-in to checkout the staff were absolutely amazing. The location had pretty tight camping spaces, its near a road and a rarely active train track, and wasnt really any kind of nuisance. The small lake had bitey bluegill. We caught and released several in a matter of 15 minutes. Numerous CLEAN and hot showers and bathrooms. We didnt use the pool or putt-putt golf, but many did and those areas looked great! The laundry room prices were reasonable and the machines did fantastic. And finally, my favorite part! The dandelion fluff was flying everywhere like a spring snow storm it was so beautiful! We are definitely going back! Thank you Camelot Staff!
