I was told site 11 was the most popular site. It is pretty, lakeside. It also has an extreme ant problem. Then, I was sitting at the table and the mowers came through blowing dirt, grass, and debris at me. She turned the mower around and blew grass, dirt, and debris at my tent which wasn't closed. Then they insisted on using the trimmer at my tent saying he has so much experience there wouldn't be more dirt blown into my tent which is complete crap. The tent has screens and dirt flies in easily. It was completely inconsiderate and I'm glad she called the ranger who was very reasonable about the situation. I realize the grass needs mowing, but directing the mower shoot toward people is over the top.

North Sandusky is a very nice campground. Spacious sites. Stayed in #91, last minute reservation with a 31-ft travel trailer. Good location and shady but a very bad slope requiring a lot of wooden blocks to level, especially in the back. Lake is not accessible in this section.

We very much enjoyed our weekend stay at the campground. The host were very nice and the campground was clean. We have verizon cell service and it was almost non existent in the park but once outside of the campground it worked well.

My wife and I needed some R&R, so we scheduled a 7 night's stay at one campground. This required a 2 camp sites relocation. The Loop (Wood duck) we booked had very few available sites. One of our 2 sites #51 had a 5-day AV. We found the reason this site was AV, because it has a 7% downhill grade, which is unfit for campers longer then 15 feet. The Wood Duck Loop was nearly empty 7/24 to 7/29 but the website showed UNAV for most of these same sites. I think you need to fix your website because it is broken. We are flexible campers and realize that longer stays at one campground may require site relocation. We have on many occasions stayed 6 days by relocating every 2 days. It is easier then relocating to different campgrounds and with the high price of gas relocating 300 miles every 2 days is not very convenient.
How would I rate our stay? I can say that I my Wife and I are not happy campers.

Excellent experience. The only issue was that our campsite was not level with a steep downward slope. I do not recall seeing any descriptions describing the slope of sites.
