We love North Sandusky starting with the campground hosts who were very friendly and quite helpful when we had to reduce our stay by a day. Rend is a favorite location, and North Sandusky has always been a favorite as well.

No fault of the campgrounds; just too hot for us. However, I will say that our friends on site 16 had a very uncomfortable picnic area. The picnic table has been filled up beneath it so much that the gravel comes nearly to the braces. Only toddlers can sit there comfortably. So ridiculous!

Wish concrete pads were at least 12 ft wide.

Love this campground. We camp here often. Grounds are clean as well as the bathroom/shower facilities. The bike trail runs through the campground making it very easy to access.

Woman at checkin was not at all nice- charged me double the rate even though I had id and had done online reservations- would not honor senior pass! But after driving 4 hours to get there what choice did I have

I know that money is short everywhere, but the camper runs are not big enought anymore for the campers and motor homes that come to use the parks. There needs to be more full hook up in North Sandusky Campground, that is the only one we use.

We had a lovely 2-night stay, up until the very end. On our way out, a staff member chased us down on her scooter, driving crazy close to our van and yelling. We thought something must be seriously wrong. After all, why would someone risk driving their scooter that close to a much larger moving vehicle if it wasn’t serious? But nope. She scolded us for driving down a loop we didn’t have a reservation for. We were trying to look around to see which loop we wanted to book the next time we visited. Now there may be no next visit. Someone please ask that woman to be more careful.
