Our site was very spacious with a good view of the water without being too exposed to winds. We love to ride the bike trails and the campground is not too hilly to ride in it either.

We had our yearly get together with the family and friends. We were excited for the newly remodeled area. The parking pads were almost perfectly level and large for the area. We unfortunately were surprised by the off gassing of the sewer system. Sites 55 thru 52 are beautiful for full hook up. But, beware of the septic tank smells. I recommend the newly remodeled area and hope there is a fix to the smells.

What a lovely campground and area. We really enjoyed our campsite, the facilities, and the overall area. Trails were wonderful, we will be back next year!

Outstanding facility. We stayed for the Halloween Trick or Treat, and even though it was rainy, it was still a good time.

We like all the campgrounds on Rend Lake, although N Sandusky was noisier than the others at the time of our stay. Campsite 26 is a mostly private site with trees at the back and a fair distance from site 27; site 25 is a bit close.

Our favorite campground, near the bike trail and we can see Rend Lake.

Wonderful water views with a nice little “beach.” The only thing that kept me from leaving a 5⭐️ review was the lack of shade due to the location of trees. Your camper will be in full sun from about noon until 5:00. Overall, nice spot.

The reservation process is easy to use, booking was simple. The site large and comfortable. We saw so many stars it was inspiring. This is one of our favorite lakes to swim in. We will always come back.

The initial site we reserved (large with a great lake view!) had something dead causing a big stink. The volunteer at the check-in booth worked hard to find us another large site with a bit of a lake view to move us to. We are very appreciative of her efforts. The sites are large, our neighbors were quiet and friendly, and the lake was beautiful even though it was too cool to play in it. We really enjoy the lovely, paved bike trails though the campgrounds!
