We like all the campgrounds on Rend Lake, although N Sandusky was noisier than the others at the time of our stay. Campsite 26 is a mostly private site with trees at the back and a fair distance from site 27; site 25 is a bit close.

Wonderful water views with a nice little “beach.” The only thing that kept me from leaving a 5⭐️ review was the lack of shade due to the location of trees. Your camper will be in full sun from about noon until 5:00. Overall, nice spot.

This is our favorite camping place. Love the camp sites, the extremely nice showers and toilets, the beautiful paved bike trail, the ability to put my kayak in right at my site, the fishing, the breathtaking sun rises and sunsets. Our 4th year and we love every moment! Thank you for such an enjoyable recreation area.

The reservation process is easy to use, booking was simple. The site large and comfortable. We saw so many stars it was inspiring. This is one of our favorite lakes to swim in. We will always come back.

The initial site we reserved (large with a great lake view!) had something dead causing a big stink. The volunteer at the check-in booth worked hard to find us another large site with a bit of a lake view to move us to. We are very appreciative of her efforts. The sites are large, our neighbors were quiet and friendly, and the lake was beautiful even though it was too cool to play in it. We really enjoy the lovely, paved bike trails though the campgrounds!

Beautiful location. Camping spots were spaced apart to give us an uncrowded experience. Will definitely camp here again.

Cutting the grass would have been nice.
