The sites are pretty level. The bike trails are great. Just wish there was water available for longer stays.

Happy to see more full hookup sites. Love the bike trail. Nice shower house. Been coming to Rend Lake since it opened. My happy place.

We stayed in site 47, Wood duck. The site was excellent and easy to set up. I would recommend it to anyone. The reason I gave the fair rating was the campers next door in 48 had dogs that barked constantly. They could not or would not control them.

Beautiful campground. Easy check-in. But, staff is not friendly. Especially the rangers. We were in the process of moving across the country with 2 very young children and 2 dogs. So you can imagine if we are able to get the kids both asleep it is very precious to us. We got a knock on our RV in the middle of the night when we were all asleep and woke everyone up. It was the ranger saying they had a complaint that our dogs were locked up outside all day. We had arrived that day so we weren't even there all day. Dogs were clearly inside the RV with us. So there was no reason to wake us up. Now we had an upset 8 month old that was very hard to get back to sleep and we had another long drive the next day. They could have easily handled this in the morning.
We still loved the campground and would love to go back. But I think it is important for the staff to know of this unprofessional behavior.

Grounds were well maintained. Staff was excellent!!! Price was exceptional!! Quiet time was insured. Shower areas were kept clean. Bike trails were a good workout but not real hard. Just one thing that was a problem
-- gnats but citronella tiki torches kept them away
