My wife and I were amazed with Rend Lake State Park South Sandusky campground. We are looking forward to our next trip in the future. Everything about the campground was desirable. For us, the best thing about our campsite was the space between campsites. We felt that we had privacy, while also being able to interact with the other campers. The campground and bath house were extremely clean. The beach was amazing and everything about the beach, tables and bbq grills and a park for the children. My wife and I brought our bikes and enjoyed the bike paths. The lake, itself, is clean (free of pollution and trash). Yes, this is now our favorite place to camp and look forward to our next visit. The only recommendation I would suggest is keeping all of the campgrounds open until the park closes.

Sewer hookup in middle of concrete pad. No way to park to avoid it. Electric and water on other side. Fhu not worth picking this site.

As with South Sandusky another nice site. Be prepared to get the leveling blocks out though. If you like sun, this is the site for you. Sun from sunrise to sunset!
