South Sandusky has always been our favorite campground at Rend Lake. When we got there they were mowing grass which was good for my fur baby so she didn't have to wade in the tall grass to go potty. The campsites are always clean and staff are friendly. If you like to walk you can do plenty of that along with riding a bike if that's what you prefer. Highly recommend the campground and will always return to camp there ourselves!!

Very nice campground. All the sites are fairly level, very roomy and well spaced out. The shower house was always clean and they have several that are handicap accessible. Campground hosts were helpful in answering questions about area activities. We really enjoyed the 11 miles of paved bicycle trail that goes thru the campground. Deer and turkeys were spotted in the campground and on the trail.

We love this campground and have been there twice. A great walking/bike path is within walking distance. Plenty of space between spaces. You can even walk down to the lake and fish off the bank. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Great playground for kids.

It was our first time camping We just bought a camper on 7/31/23.
Lot 146 was a good lot. Little to no slope for the parking pad and lot. Long enough for 37’ travel trailer and two vehicles. Plenty of shade.
Shower house was close
to our lot and was very clean. We liked the shower house in that there was four lockable units so you had your own lockable unit to use shower and toilet.
Great place for riding bicycles.
I would recommend South Sandusky Campground and lot 146. Only thing that would have made it better is if we would have had sewer hookup in addition to water and electric. All was great!
