I’ve camped here since I was a young child, started taking my kids here we enjoyed the outdoors, trails, beach, park, and of course boating. Now I enjoy coon creek with my husband ( kids are grown) we come as often as possible this is the BEST CAMPGROUND on lake Shelbyville ❤️❤️❤️

The standard 120V outlet I was at did not work. I had to use an adapter from the bigger one

Great camping area with good access to water. Campsites are very nice and well taken care of. Staff helpful and friendly. Meet some nice people who were staying about two weeks like we did. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys camping. Another note there are other parks in area that are fun to go through, including good places to ride your bike, if enjoy that. We plan to go back in 2020. Tom

Coon Creek is a very nice, clean campground. Large campsites, a little grocery store just outside the gate. They have a nice playground on the northside of the campground. The only thing I can say bad about our experience is the late check-in. Checkin is at 5 PM. But on the flip side, you don't have to get up and rush out of there. check out is at 4 PM. Make sure you have plenty of wood or blocks. Some of the sites are very uneven. But overall we will go back.

Great staff. Great location. Clean facilities. Went twice this year. Both experiences were a lot of fun. Will definitely be back in a few months when it warms up.
