Coon Creek Campground offers beautiful views, clean facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for relaxation and outdoor activities. Many visitors appreciated the friendly staff and well-maintained grounds, with some sites providing easy access to the lake and nearby trails. While some campers noted issues with site leveling and occasional cleanliness concerns, overall experiences were positive, with many planning to return.

We had a great time here. The lake is huge with plenty of room to explore, especially on E bikes. I saw some other sites I think I'd like better but no problem with this one. It's a good space from any neighbors, right next to a fresh water spout, and directly across from the showers. We did have some issues with some aggressive yellow jackets swarming our camp, especially when we first pulled up so be(e)ware of that. I'd easily stay here again though.

Such a great experience. Much more elevated than we thought, but there was a trail behind one of our sites (#20) to the waterfront and it was awesome for the kids to fish and swim. Toilet facilities were clean and spacious but we did have to bring our own hand soap. Only negative was that it’s very open to the public as in anyone can drive right through all night long. Other campgrounds I’ve stayed at have had a gate that closes after a certain time. It wasn’t an issue at all and we felt safe the whole time, just something to note for tent campers especially.

Everything was great except the sewer hookup went up hill which made it difficult for it to drain properly. We would still go back.

we have a 42 ft RV, it is not a pull thru site for our size due to a curve/bend around trees, backing in from the other side was easy. Very nice, shaded (would be great during summer) and spacious site. the little store before you enter the campground was closed for the season, during the summer it would be covenant. Findley is a short drive from the campground and has several choices of restaurants (5 or 6), all was good. check festival dates and book early.
