Bo Woods: Recreation.gov website was good, user friendly detailed, easier o use than my state's. website. Tip: When I first tried to register - it failed, but when I offered a second email address - it worked fine. Could have been due to older email - I might have used before or it got locked out. The phone customer service was most excellent. Bo camp was so so, the lake was no good, it's mainly for water skiers, motor boats, Saturday camp was full, I got lucky finding a spot. Lake is dark water, churned up waves from boats, I think the lake is man-made by damming of a river, super steep dangerously high banks, no where to fish from shore, boats roar motors well into the overnight. Some group held a big fireworks show in mid August, that was nice. Decent mount of trees. Lots are small, all gravel, not lawn to enjoy. Mostly if not all trailer camper RV's, restroom shower was small, two of them, had old shower, nozzle worked but set - you cannot adjust the direction, it was not very clean to the point I chose not to shower there, skipped it. Nothing else there to enjoy, nothing to see. Nice people in the park. But big regret.

Bo Woods is a very nice campground. There is not a lot to do if you do not have a boat, but relaxing non the less. It was a little warm the weekend we went. We did take a trip to Arthur and Mattoon.

Please tell me why when u need water tank filled on rv u have to drive into campgrounds and block road , and hose bib is on wrong side of road. Not a trash can in the park just dumpsters
