What Guests Are Saying
Coon Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with clean facilities, well-maintained campgrounds, and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the picturesque views of Lake Shelbyville and the quiet atmosphere, making it a favorite for families and nature lovers. However, some concerns were raised about the lack of fish cleaning stations, narrow parking spaces, and the need for improved arrival hours for campers without reservations.

Boat ramp area needs to have a fish cleaning station. Also needs to have area for first come campers to come without reservations. Everyone makes reservations for the weekend and then no spots for campers coming in that may want to stay through a week to 14 days.

Park is great.]
Complaint: Our tax money pays for these parks. Every American holds a stake in these parks. These ACOE parks open the season way to late and close way to early.

Very cordial and helpful staff! Gorgeous setting on Lake Shelbyville. Well planned campground with good spacing, fairly level site. We were camped at site 185 at the end of a peninsula on the waterfront. Super clean restrooms.
