Bo Woods Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained sites, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for campers. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the ample opportunities for boating and biking in the area. However, some noted the limitations in fishing access, crowded weekends, and the condition of restrooms, suggesting areas for improvement. Overall, it remains a favored destination for camping enthusiasts.

My wife and i have been to several camp grounds in the shelbyville area and always come back to bo woods. The camp grounds are imaccuatley clean the people at front check in are great the camping spots are some of the best around. if you had to ask me where i would camp it would be bo woods. The people you meet are from all around and they are some of the nicest people you would want to know.

Every site is level and well maintained. Good space between sites. Clean showers and rest rooms, plenty of hot water.
Definitely going to camp there again.

I hadn't been camping here since I was a kid so I had no information regarding which sites were in shade versus full, all day long, blazing hot, sun. Unfortunately our borrowed pop-up had no AC. Some intel regarding the sites would be handy so, when you're booking and don't have AC, you'd know to avoid certain sites if possible.
The first shower I tried had the handle broken off. Of course I didn't find this out until I had already disrobed completely. So that was fun. This was my husband's first camping trip as an adult and I had to beg him to go. I think he would come back out with me if I picked a shader spot. It was quiet and the other campers were respectful and even helped us hitch up our camper when we had trouble.
I would come back, now that I've done some recon on the better sites.
