What Guests Are Saying
Bo Woods Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained sites, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for campers. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the ample opportunities for boating and biking in the area. However, some noted the limitations in fishing access, crowded weekends, and the condition of restrooms, suggesting areas for improvement. Overall, it remains a favored destination for camping enthusiasts.

Beautiful campground, well maintained and friendly volunteers. We were just passing through only spending two nights but enjoyed biking through the park.

Solid Army Corps of Engineers campground. Our 2nd time camping there. Sullivan is a nice little town. Shelbyville is worth a visit as well as surrounding communities.

We always enjoy our stay at Bo Wood. The people at the park office and the park rangers are always friendly and helpful. I have stayed at multiple campgrounds at Lake Shelbyville and enjoy each one I have stayed at, but Forrest W Bo Wood is definitely a cut above the rest.

This is a beautiful park with clean sites and large, shady trees. Grounds are well maintained. We didn't use the shower house. Parts of the park are on Lake Shelbyville so there is plenty of opportunity to boat or fish.

One of our favorite places to camp. Very nice place and super relaxing. Would have no trouble making the 4 hour trip every year. We have met friends while camping there that we now keep in contact with and revisit. Truly a must for those who have never been. A real hidden gem in our eyes.
