Wonderful campground hidden amongst soy and corn fields. Older shower rooms and bathrooms but very clean. Some campers have their sites lit up a lot at night which interferes with star gazing. I guess they just don’t get it.

We enjoyed our stay very much and found the bathroom facilities exceptionally clean. The volunteers who look after this campground are exceptional and always taking care of all the grounds and facilities.

nice state par campground, sites 01thru 54 are full sites electric,water,sewer the rest just electric but beautyful shaded spots. 4 different bathroom facalities cleaned daily. 1 shower area, 6 individual showers with locking doors 2 handicap showers also, hot and cold running water showers cleaned daily. nice area will come again.

From Shelbyville, Illinois, take State Route 128 north for 3.5 miles. Turn right onto County Road 1650 N. Continue nearly a mile to County Road 1880 E. Turn right and travel 0.5 mile to County Road 1600 N. Turn right again and drive one mile into the Opossum Creek facility.
