alot of sites are unlevel however i was able to get a level one site 8 very nice

There were five persimmons tree in front of our Trailer and we had persimmons and flies on our feet the dogs got diarrhea good thing we was only there two days it was very miserable with the rain so bad if they weren’t falling out the tree so bad we couldn’t use the fireplace everywhere was persimmons made a terrible camping experience at that campsite it would be nice if they were closed at campsite when the persimmons was so bad otherwise it was an excellent yeah place..

Very enjoyable. Beautiful scenery with the lake and fall colors. Clean bathroom/shower locations. Will definitely camp there again.

The park is beautiful and well maintained. Easy access to all the surrounding parks and fishing areas. The fish weren't biting when we were there but of the course the day after we left our friends who stayed another week really had fun catching the fish that we missed. We will defiantly be back next year.

From I-57 take exit 77 and turn west on Route 154. Turn left onto Gun Creek Trail/Larry Foster Parkway, then right onto Golf Course Road. Continue 1/2 mile to park entrance.
