Gun Creek

Campsite was good.

We had a beautiful site, everything worked, the front gate people were helpful, and the lake is gorgeous.

We were only able to stay long enough to get some sleep before we had to head out. Didn’t even unhook from the truck. We wish we had been able to stay for several days because this place was immaculate! The fishing report (s) got my husband thinking about spending a week or so down here! Seriously though, the fire pits were the cleanest pits we have ever seen. Rend Lake seems to be a hidden gem and look forward to returning

When I went to register she was 40 minutes late on monday. The grass is cut high and looked like it needed cut directly after the mowing for it was very tall before and tall afterwards. it harbored deer ticks because it was so tall. The restrooms were not cleaned daily. We were not happy with the campground although the sight was nice. One family showerhouse would not lock. Do they need someone else oversseing that campground? It was the worst kept up I have seen since camping again.

Campground is always clean. Check in was easy and staff very friendly and welcoming.

Gun Creek is a beautiful well maintained campground with excellent views and very helpful staff. I highly recommend visiting Gun Creek campgrounds.

Enjoyed sharing our weekend campout with our grandson, and he thoroughly enjoyed his first boat ride/fishing. 😊🎣

Very clean and well maintained. Beautiful view of the lake. But I didn't think about the wind off the lake making it feel much colder than it was in the fall and I did not pack the appropriate clothing. That's on me, but don't let it be you 😆.
