A beautiful park on the water in central Illinois. Large lots with easy access for your Starlink. Table, fire ring, and lantern holder at every site. Well-kept grounds and bathhouses. Good cell phone reception. Fabulous night skies and QUIET!

Super Great Location easy in and out from interstate. Large sites well maintained. some serious slopes, but manageable. Enjoyed this facility very much. Only issue is odd check in/check out times, but it all worked out when I arrived early.

Beautiful surroundings with picturesque landscapes, many amazing raptors, geese and ducks, and other wildlife. I had a great time paddling into nearby, serene coves surrounded by bald cypress. Enjoy fishing and hiking. Friendly park services with a clean and quiet campsite.

Nice campsite. Paved sites, ours sloped back some so need additional leveling.
Electric at site, potable water and dump station available.
Easy check in with host telling us location of potable water before heading to our site.
Best of all I was able to use my America the Beautiful Senior lifetime pass that saved us 50%
We will return for additional stay.

Site #64 was level enough that my refrigerator was happy, good shade, close to the bathhouse, and I had no problems with the wheelchair whatsoever. The campground loop was full, with kids playing up and down the street, but I didn't feel crowded. It was a lovely site, but I wish it had been full hookup.

From I-57 take exit 77 and turn west on Route 154. Turn left onto Gun Creek Trail/Larry Foster Parkway, then right onto Golf Course Road. Continue 1/2 mile to park entrance.
