Very nice campground. We stayed for the night traveling through the state. Sites were decent size, great views of lake, and great price. It had just rained and was muggy out, so quite a bit of mosquitoes were hanging out under our awning and truck. But they didn't seem to bother us as we were walking our dog. Definitely would return if in the area!!!

We only stayed overnight, the campground is very well maintained. Check-in was easy, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We have stayed at Rend Lake before and would definitely visit again.

We enjoyed site #83 which is right on the water! The site was level, shady, had fresh water adjacent and it was very beautiful overlooking the lake. A morning stroll down to the shore rewarded us with scenic photos. Park was clean and well equipped. We would stay here again.

The campsites were great. It was the weather that didn't cooperate. Thunderstorms every day, mostly at night. And very hot. Bad choice of dates... July

clean, quiet campground. Friendly staff. Bathrooms cleaned every morning, I spoke with the gentleman cleaning them at 6 am, very nice. Close to Sesser for ice cream, Benton and Mt Vernon for restaurants and movie theater when it rained, gold courses and the lake.

Gun Creek is always a great time. We've been camping there for over 40 years. Rend Lake is one of out favorites.

From I-57 take exit 77 and turn west on Route 154. Turn left onto Gun Creek Trail/Larry Foster Parkway, then right onto Golf Course Road. Continue 1/2 mile to park entrance.
