This is a great COE campground. The Nighthawk section has FHU sites and most are quite level. It is always clean at the campsites and very peaceful. It is very easy to get to, just a mile or so from the Interstate. We travel in a 45’ motor coach with a tow. We camped in site 15.

Small campground. Very clean. Only issue is proximity to the interstate but was perfect for us as a stop over

This was just an overnight stop for us but it seems like a really nice campground. We were at site 59, a pull through site. Nice woods to one side and lake view out in front. Very quiet and camp hosts were very friendly. There were a few lowish hanging branches but not too big of a deal. We did have to unhook our tow to make the turn around at the end of the road. Campground is ready to get to. The check in time of 5 pm is probably the biggest negative, but if we are in the area, we would stay again.

A very pleasant experience at a quiet, clean camp site. There was some noise from work on the dam but it ended early. Highly recommend the campground.

Rend Lake Gun Creek is our stop every time we travel from TN to WI and back
Check in gal with the fun glasses was pleasant and welcoming. Campground is always well taken care of. Walmart and Rural King nearby. Don't miss a drive to Dessert to visit The Custard Stand with Lady Liberty holding an ice cream cone. The Mill and Anchor Grille are good local restaurants.

The power kept tripping out when we tried to use microwave and AC.

Site #64 was level enough that my refrigerator was happy, good shade, close to the bathhouse, and I had no problems with the wheelchair whatsoever. The campground loop was full, with kids playing up and down the street, but I didn't feel crowded. It was a lovely site, but I wish it had been full hookup.

Nice campsite. Paved sites, ours sloped back some so need additional leveling.
Electric at site, potable water and dump station available.
Easy check in with host telling us location of potable water before heading to our site.
Best of all I was able to use my America the Beautiful Senior lifetime pass that saved us 50%
We will return for additional stay.
