Beautiful surroundings with picturesque landscapes, many amazing raptors, geese and ducks, and other wildlife. I had a great time paddling into nearby, serene coves surrounded by bald cypress. Enjoy fishing and hiking. Friendly park services with a clean and quiet campsite.

Super Great Location easy in and out from interstate. Large sites well maintained. some serious slopes, but manageable. Enjoyed this facility very much. Only issue is odd check in/check out times, but it all worked out when I arrived early.

A beautiful park on the water in central Illinois. Large lots with easy access for your Starlink. Table, fire ring, and lantern holder at every site. Well-kept grounds and bathhouses. Good cell phone reception. Fabulous night skies and QUIET!

The setting for the campground, next to the lake, is lovely. The different staff people were very pleasant and over the top helpful. The major draw back that we saw was that some of the sites have been resurfaced (cement) and updated (including a new table) - the others were showing their wear.

The sites are large, although some are not level. The park was clean and the host was friendly and helpful.

From I-57 take exit 77 and turn west on Route 154. Turn left onto Gun Creek Trail/Larry Foster Parkway, then right onto Golf Course Road. Continue 1/2 mile to park entrance.
