Walk in site 56 was awesome! Clear of foliage, tons of space for tents, lots of hammock trees, VERY private and close to parking lot. Mosquitos were INSANE - highly recommend bringing a thermacell repellent device, it was very effective. Close drive to beach and some corner shops right nearby

We enjoy this campground. Lots of trees so mostly shady. Sites are nice and spacious. Asphalt pads. Bathrooms and showers are relatively clean. Even have a wash station for dishes. Close to some trails and beaches on the west side of the park. We were warned about racoon activity.

Dunewood is a good location to enjoy all of the Dunes area. I like the campsites, private and woodsy.

Great site (Mather, 20), and a great campground overall! The sites and bathrooms are always very clean here, & most sites have really good privacy. There are lots of trees and birds (the crows!!) to feel well and truly outdoors.

The walk in campsite was perfect for our family of 5. My kids loved exploring the campground
The showers and bathrooms were very clean, and the shower was hot.
The only negative I had was the campsite behind us was very loud till 1am. Thankfully it did not disturb my kids sleep, but my husband and I didnt sleep.

The campground is terrific! The sites are private and tucked in the woods. The bath house was clean and the showers were warm. Close proximity to national & state park amenities. Campground host was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again!
