What Guests Are Saying

Lakeside RV Resort has some appealing aspects, such as a well-maintained beach that is raked weekly. However, there are significant concerns regarding the overall upkeep of the park, including the lack of buoys in the lake and poor maintenance of the piers. Additionally, issues with noise, unsupervised children, and inappropriate behavior at the pool highlight the need for better management and rules to enhance the guest experience.

Don't let the pictures or name fool you this is by no means a RV resort this should be renamed Lakeside Mobile home and RV park just about everyone in here lives here and they do not keep up their areas everyone looks like they are having a garage sale. No enforcement of quite times, or keeping your trash picked up, the trailer we had to park by he left at 4:30
Am for work 3-4 dogs barking for at least 2 hours when he leaves, kids screaming across the way all hours. Just horrible stay....

I am very disappointed with this year’s upkeeping. There are no buoys in the lake which is dangerous for any swimmers, only one of the three useable piers has chairs to sit on/ fish off of, and not to mention that the sand is littered with weeds and seaweed. Seeing that the lake is one of the big sellers at this resort, its upsetting to see just how little the lake is actually taken care of.

Update- this year the lake still didn’t have any buoys put in, which is upsetting and I hope for next season their will be buoys 🤞🏻on the plus side the beach is very taken care of and raked every week which is greatly appreciated! Although one of the most upsetting and aggravating factor this season was the pool. Almost every time I was at the pool there were people drinking alcohol, especially in the pool, this raises some safety concerns with slipping, impaired judgment, and even possible broken glass or alcohol in the pool itself. Not to mention most of the adults who are “socializing” all day don’t even watch their kids in the pool which is extremely dangerous! Half the time the group that would come to the pool to drink wouldn’t even be wearing their bathing suit just normal clothes just to come to the pool and drink, which made it very uncomfortable for the residents that come to the pool for it’s actual use to swim. I hope that with new management and a new season next year there will be more rules and regulations that come in with the pool.

Me and my friends LOVE this place! The lake is so clean and so fun to be in. The pool is normally clean, and it is also a great size. Me and my friends come here almost every weekend it is open and it's so fun. 10/10 recommend. There is also a nice restaurant across the street from it.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. It's almost exclusively seasonal campsites. Because of that, everyone knows one another. Manager Terry is very friendly, caring and accommodating. She works hard to keep the grounds well maintained. We have monthly group activities such as chili cook-offs, children's activities, and mother's/father's day breakfasts. The past few years we have had huge Labor Day party with a bounce house, hog roast and a band. We love our time here.

LOVE. THIS. PLACE. Very family oriented campground. Clean. Pet friendly. Campers here are very welcoming and management is truly accommodating and helpful. We have camped here for many years and have enjoyed every minute. We absolutely could not ask for a better manager and better accommodations. The pool is ALWAYS clean, the lake is nearby, Monroes Crossing is available for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a cocktail. What more could you ask for?
