Many sites had standing water making swamps around the campground. So the mosquitoes were unbearable.

I've stayed there several years now, and this year the showers needed some attention. Moldy and lots of dirt on floor. Mosquitoes, ticks and poison ivy were bad. Walked to restroom one evening, staying on path, and returned with a dozen bites and 1 tick. Someone needs to spray.

Beautiful walk-in site. Clean, level tent pad and easy access to showers, washing station, and bathrooms.

I think the state park is leagues better than the national park. There are so much more things to do. I will say the national park has much more privacy if that is what you are wanting

Not very clear directions on checking in, mosquito infested, had to park a "day pass" after I paid the camp fees. But could only get "7 day pass" and we were only there for 2 days.

Really enjoyed tent camping here despite rainy weather. The campsites are very tidy and the amenities are sufficiently clean. Lots of mosquitoes and ticks but nothing outrageous.

the bathrooms are always a weak spot in this park, the visitor center is way far away from the campground. perhaps if the managers actually stayed there it would be better

Very beautiful campground, sites are far apart with lots of privacy. Bathrooms and showers were clean and the camp host was very informative.
