I love this area. Nice lots and quiet atmosphere. Access to water areas for fishing is limited. There was an extreme tick issue. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I believe we may get a group site next time. A large family.

Camped at Jackpine site #22 and the electric power post is bad. My surge protector kicked out from the first it was as plugged in. Tried several times said bad ground couldn't use the surge monitor. I've camped at this sight many times before and no problem but not again until the electric problem is fixed. Besides that the rest of the stay was great will go again in the fall but not to that site if not fixed

Always love Tipsaw and Indian/Celina campgrounds. The BA Service employees were so friendly but are definitely overworked and understaffed. They work so hard to maintain this beautiful campground but need more help.

The only downfall was how flooded the lake was which meant the beach was gross and murky. Couldn't be helped by staff. Love this campground!

The campground spots were spacious and we didn't have any probles with leveling. The asphalt pads were a welcome sight from other places we have camped.

We enjoyed our stay at Tipsaw Jackpine Loop.
The only issues were that the trailer pad for the camp site was considerably unlevel from front to back and there was very little room next to the trailer for anything.
We were able to level the trailer, but we were at maximum extension on the trailer jack, even with wood blocks to help.
There was a picnic table area at the campsite, so we were able to enjoy our stay although not an optimal setup.
All in all, it was a good experience.

From St. Croix, Indiana, travel south on State Route 37 about 5 miles to the Tipsaw Lake sign. Turn right and continue about 3 miles to the campground. Tipsaw Lake is only 3 miles from Interstate 64.
Tipsaw Lake is approximately 3 miles from Interstate 64, accessible via State Route 37.
Elevation: 159 feet
4.3 mi drive to downtown Branchville (about 9 min)
Policies & Rules
General
- First-come, first-served sites may be available
- $8 fee will be charged to vehicles using the day use area
- Only electric motors are allowed on the lake
- Each campsite fee includes a camping unit (tent,camper) & one vehicle (single sites) and two vehicles (double sites). There is a $8.00 charge per day for the second vehicle, and $8.00 charge per day for any additional vehicle (must be paid at time of check-in). Maximum two vehicles per single site, and four vehicles per double site. There is a surcharge for the site with electric and water.
