Absolutely not worth the price!! I visited Postcard Cabins twice before it was bought out by Marriott and unfortunately it has gone downhill and is incredibly overpriced now and I will not be returning.

They have removed some features that they used to have and think that offering "snacks" (one small bag of popcorn, one oatmeal cup, and stale marshmallows) makes up for the price doubling. I was really let down by the state of the cabin -- it does not seem like there has been any maintenance or upkeep since they were built. Our cabin was incredibly drafty and the heating didn't work very well. It took about 15 minutes just for the heat to kick on and then another hour and a half for the cabin to actually warm up, even though it's only 150sqft. The sensor on the heating doesn't work, since the thermostat will say it's about 80 degrees in the cabin but the floor is cold and there was a cold draft coming in from the cabin walls that went up to my knees, so my feet were freezing. The last time I visited, the cabin had lots of cooking amenities like packets of olive oil, so this time around I didn't bring my own, and then was very disappointed to find there is no longer any olive oil offered and I could not make the meal I planned on. The customer service was subpar as well -- I never received my cabin name and key code and had to reach out AFTER check-in time just to get that basic information.

I paid $162 for one night during off-season, so I cannot even imagine how much it is during the summer. Do not waste your money -- there are other cabin rental places in Brown County that you would be better off giving your money to.

LOVELY. Absolutely lovely. This is my favorite vacation I’ve taken in a long time. Prices are so reasonable. Especially if you go during the week. I love how they have the wood and fire lighting stuff there for you. Plus the pour over equipment too. Top notch. The location is fabulous. Just far enough to feel like you’re off the grid yet close enough to explore Nashville and the surrounding area. We loved the little hiking trail in the camp. Also the room itself was nice and spacious enough to be comfortable with great views. Can’t recommend enough.

Not worth the risk anymore.

Hear me out. This is a cool experience if you haven't done it before, but if you have, you should know that you no longer have the ability to choose where your cabin is located. And with prices going up, it's no longer worth paying for something you might not enjoy primarily due to where you are randomly placed in the woods. Again, this only matters if you've been here before.

I'm guessing Getaway / Postcard Cabins getting bought by Marriott has something to do with this, but it sucks because I would legitimately go more often if they either reverted the change or gave users the option to pay less for a 'randomized location' selection, while also allowing users to pay more for specific cabins (because all cabins are not equal here). The fact that you can't choose your cabin anymore effectively makes this an overpriced hotel.

This was my third and probably last time going (went twice before the update), which is sad considering how good our experiences were in the past. 2 nights for 2 people now costs closer to $400 - all so you can stare at a fire in the woods. Make it make sense.

The camp grounds are safe, but it's now financially risky to go.

P.S. - make it less it's obvious that you're using A.I. to respond all of the reviews.

We had a free night coupon so thought a visit to Brown County might be a good choice. Discovered this option with Matiott.
Great option.
Firewood and smores provided. Wilderness vibe. Good to connect with nature.
Even Stinky the Skunk wanted to hang out with us.
Will definitely look for similar opportunities going forward.

I stayed at this cabin for one night last week, and it was such a great experience! The place was super clean, cozy, and had everything I needed — kitchen supplies, firewood, and all the little details that make a stay comfortable. It was peaceful and quiet, especially in the fall with all the colorful trees around. A perfect spot to relax and disconnect from the world for a bit.

The only small thing I noticed was a slight smell when I first got there — not bad, just a little off. Maybe it just needs to be aired out between guests. Other than that, everything was perfect.
