When we travel in our RV, we stop for gas and stop over night at a campground. Loves RV Hookup provides both, super convenient! This location, De Motte IN has a full blown campground with lots of amenities. Pull through and back in sites are available, all with full hookup. Be aware the water is turned off in the Winter, when you arrive they will turn the water on. Office closes at 5PM, so if you arrive after you have to wait till the morning. If temps are freezing they require heated hose to keep the water on. If you don’t have one you can fill your holding tank and use it.

They have a small playground, basketball court, dog park, and tennis ball or pickle ball courts. There is also a camp store, and 24 hour access to restrooms and showers. The showers are nice and big and clean but lack a bench to keep your stuff off the floor.

The young lady working here was very friendly and helpful. It’s great to always have a full tank of gas when we leave the campground.

First let me start out at giving Rose, the employee at Love’s RV a 5 star rating. She couldn’t have been any nicer & tried to help salt & shovel us out from being stuck in the snow. She had said the snowplow was not working when we first made the reservation, but they were hoping to have it plowed the next day. When we arrived the snowplow hadn’t come & there was 4 to 6” of snow, with ice underneath. You could not tell where the road was in the park. Our 45’ class A motorhome, towing our truck, got stuck within 100’. We had to disconnect the truck, Rose put salt in front of the rear tires, & with some luck, we started moving. We got into the site, my husband shoveled a path to the electric box, & then shoveled a small area for our small dog to potty. They said they will have a plow come up only to the entrance, but not into the park, and would spread salt in the park, but never saw it come through this evening . We leave in the morning, with no idea due to the snow, where the road is in the park.
They charged $65 plus for the night including a Sam’s club discount. They charged $3.00 for having a pet. With no place for the pet to walk or potty.
Rose said that we’d have to contact corporate to try and get a partial refund. So that means, there will be none.
This might be a nice place during other seasons, but they should be able to deal with winter, if they charge the regular amount & offer the Rv park location. Of course, no water, due to the cold, but that is understandable & expected.
Again, Rose was very nice, but management put her in an intolerable situation, to deal with this by herself. She deserved better support from management.

Reserved a site months ago for our trip home. Overall the park is nice and large. When we entered the park there wasn't an attendant on duty and there was a truck and camping stuff on the site we reserved. I called the Love's store and was transferred to the manager. It appeared they have some unregistered campers at several of the sites which felt unsafe in general. The manager asked us to pick an empty site and the turned on the services. Later they came by and spoke to the unregister campers. They told us they were not supposed to be there but didn't make them leave. This RV Stop is not close to the store. It did not feel as safe as others we have stayed at. It is a large park, some campers were in and out like us but others appeared to be squatters (only my observation of the weeks worth of laundry hanging out to dry, or maybe there were no dryers working?) Other sites apeared parked no owners in sight or mystery campers.

We needed an overnight spot in northern Indiana and found nothing available in traditional campgrounds. The Love's location was convenient, well appointed from the facility standpoint, and quiet even though it was close to I-65. We were glad to discover a national system of campgrounds associated with fuel stops and food services. The staff in the Demotte, Indiana, location was absolutely top notch and the facility was spotlessly clean.
