The Mrs. and I decided to try the place out over an extended Labor Day weekend. We got there during the middle of the week and was welcomed by several people before we even unhooked and got set up. Was a little slower there during the week but there was a ton of activities going on on the weekend. We have stayed in places similar to this one that are in the area and to be honest we prefer Ponderosa. Its more laid back and chill and thats our vibe we like. We plan to come back this next spring and summer for some longer visits and enjoy the pool some more. Over all we had a very enjoyable time and plan to make Ponderosa our new home away from home in the future years.

Visiting this place is like stopping by a relative that you haven't seen in 10 years. So inviting. This is a great bunch of people.

Relaxed, rustic atmosphere where one can enjoy naturism without judgement. The pool is lovely. The staff and guests are warm and welcoming. There are activities to keep you busy but quiet and reflection can be enjoyed, too.

Ponderosa has limited transient RV sites, but they're located on a beautiful koi-filled pond.
The resort has activities and events regularly, the property is clean and well-maintained, and the people are friendly and helpful.
