We stayed for one night and ended up paying for two because we wanted to spend more time there. The site was spacious and quiet and had easy access to a bathroom and shower as well as a playground. The kids loved the hike to the lake and we enjoyed the views. We will definitely be back!

Need fire pits that are not buried in the ground and the grates also. Don't like the fire pits that be are well above the ground. Some sites are being taken over by nature and they look messy. My stay be was good and quiet thank God.

Sites are awesome size and so peaceful. I particularly like the primitive and walk-to sites. Park staff are wonderful and do a great job keeping restrooms and shower houses clean. I have been there several times, my favorite spot and I have not been disappointed yet.

the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The only problem I had was making the reservation online. The website didn't let me choose the options for a search, such as water or electric. Each time I had to start a whole new search for each option.

Another great camping trip to Hardin Ridge. Renting a cabin has turned into an annual trip. We were better prepared this time (we brought air mattresses, lol). Love getting out on the lake, hunting for Big Foot and enjoying our evenings sitting around the fire. The perfect weekend trip before starting school.

Awesome campground. Paved roads and parking pad. Well maintained but the bathroom/showers are dated. Plenty of shade among the trees. Front entrance staff are helpful and friendly. Dump station located up near the entrance. Fire pits are great and wood is for sale at front gate along with t-shirts. Towns are about 30 minutes away if you need to go. Either Bloomington or Bedford. There is a convenience store called Fishin Shedd closer for fishing and camping supplies.
