Accommodations were great. Beautiful area.
Campsites were excellent.
The only criticism I have is that we had a raccoon keep us up all night each night.
USFS should probably hire Wildlife Services to annually trap raccoons on this site.

Everyone from front office to camp hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The sites are the best in the state being private and in ground fire pits. Great hiking and so much fun exploring.

Great campground! It’s very quiet and peaceful and love the space between each site. Bathhouses were nice to have but filled with dead bugs. Oh well! Definitely will be coming back here each year

The entire grounds were clean and the staff was amazingly friendly! Being tucked down on the tip of Southern Point gave nice views and relatively quiet surroundings. The pit toilet was one of the cleanest I've ever seen. Potable water spigots throughout and one at our site was a nice touch!

This NP campground is a nice well planned layout. Lots of choices in sites that provide great separation in stunning hardwood forest. The facilities are on the newer side and well kept. There is ample variety of utilities at sites, which will suit all camping styles. Best for last!… the staff was very friendly and helpful. The great experience started at the entrance gate, the ladies there were thoughtful and efficient, out-of-the-box thinkers. They tended to business of the Park Service, but added a very pleasing commonsense approach, that was very refreshing and easy to work with. The facility is excellent when compared to most across the nation. The memory we take away was the kindly commonsense staff taking care of business! Not sure how many were volunteers, but all were good picks for a good park experience! Nice job NPS!

I stayed in one of the cabins, it was a great experience. Nice, clean, and not busy at all on a weekday. Karen was also very responsive and helpful.
If you are renting a cabin keep in mind that there's an infelxible two night minimum stay
