We had a good time. We were kind of far away from the shower houses but it was quieter that way. The campsites around the showers seemed noisier. There was quite a bit of a drop-off from the street to the gravel pad where we parked the camper. Maybe they need to fill that in with more gravel. The beach was closed. Nearest grocery store was 20 minutes away. We did end up going to the Hoosier national Forest headquarters. They had an open house which was really fun. The pond inside harden Ridge was fun. We found a box turtle and lots of frogs. Playground was kind of rundown. Lots of mosquitoes and yellow jackets.

When checking in, we were informed our campground didnt have any working facilities. They said they can move us with no problem. We had the perfect spot.
Everything was great! Friendly staff, clean shower house and restrooms. We hope to visit again. Thank you

The staff are great, everything was great just wish the beach had been open. We ended up leaving after our first night because we went during a weekend that was extremely hot and not being able to swim wasn’t great with how hot it was.

Camping site was secluded and surrounded by trees, providing plenty of privacy.
The showers and bathrooms were clean and well maintained.
The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free.

We stayed at camp 101 and we loved the area and campgrounds, only thing I can say negative is there were tons of bees at our site. Don't know if that's normal or there is a hive by that site. Just wanted to mention it. They weren't aggressive

Lots of campground helpers all the time. Disappointed that Eads loop bathroom has been out of commission for a year; any plans to re-open? Nice and low-key on a holiday weekend!

I have always LOVED Hardin Ridge. It’s so peaceful, secluded, and you have privacy. I’ve always hated campgrounds that feel like you’re camping on top of other people and having other people walk through your campsite but that’s not an issue here. The bathrooms are the cleanest out of every campground I’ve ever been to and staff is always super friendly and welcoming! This is the only place I come to camp!
