PSA: do NOT use the waterslides. My family booked a cabin this past summer. We went immediately to the pool. Decided to try the waterslide. I read all of the instructions to make sure there were no restrictions. Went down and was almost immediately flipped out of the tube due to excessive water pressure. I went into the pool at the bottom knees first because i was flipped onto my stomach. The pool at the bottom is at most 3 ft deep. I landed directly on my knees. I had to pull myself out of the water because the lifeguards didnt notice. I will say once she did notice, she tried to help me. She was not prepared to deal with something like this but she was so sweet and kind. The lifeguards let my family pull a golf cart up to the gate and tried to assist me to the cart. I did end up at a hospital to make sure it wasnt broken. It was dislocated. My family had to ASK to fill out an incident report. We have never been contacted regarding the incident or any followup. I was out of work for 10 weeks, and its still not back to 100%. Multiple other guests my family spoke to said they were sore and had bruising from going down these slides. While I waited for the golf cart, another child kept having issues getting stuck in the middle of the other slide. Overall, I do not recommend using the waterslides for anyone unless youre prepared for medical bills. Had I gone in any different way I could have broken my neck or legs or face. Just please use extreme caution and consider if its worth the missed work, long recovery, and growing bills from missing work and going to a Dr 2-3 times a week.

ETA: taking this seriously would have occurred 6 months ago when the incident occurred and the report was made. Im so happy to hear my lifelong struggles (including accelerating a knee replacement) and financial stress can help you write your new training manual. Make sure you give me knee a shout out during new employee orientation and customer incident procedures.

I have been coming to lake Rudolph for about the past 10 years and love the place. I almost always come with atleast 3 people in the fall It is a fun place there are many things to do and this year the beds were actually comfortable. Except that the wifi wasn't great wich it never was because obviously it's camping, and some of the sheets were dirty so was the floor. But other than that I would say 4 out of 5 stars. Also make sure you bring your own towels! I almost forgot I'm glad I didn't.

What has happened to this place the last couple of years!??? So disappointed! When I booked I was told all water facilities were open until Labor Day. We arrived on Saturday and found out this is the ONLY day the water slides would be open. The pool would be open on Sunday and that's it. Monday the pool wouldn't open until 330-6. It ended up closing at 5 and had 50+ people in it. We will not keep paying for amenities that are non-existent. I understand there is an "off" season but this is a weekend in August. Once the heat died down the kids wanted to play golf at 6:50 pm. They couldn't play because they close at 7. We usually come several times a year but it has declined dramatically over the past 3 years. Glad to finally see new pool chairs! This was always our favorite place. So disappointed but we will be finding a new "go to".

We went back for Haloween weekends and you can't throw candy out in the golf cart parade! What? That was always my youngest 's favorite part. So many changes. So sad.

Our family has stayed here two times this summer. This time will be the last time we ever visit. This is not a family friendly camp ground.

When we first visited, we stayed in a cabin. They weren't the nicest cabins, but they were clean. On our first trip we had an issue with a teenager trying to break into our cabin that had our children sleeping in it. We scared him off and that time an employee came by to check on us. Later on, we figured it was some stupid prank since they were all pretty young and brushed it off.

On this trip we decided to take our 7 year old tent camping for the first time over the weekend. This was a big mistake. We had a nice camping spot, but as soon as the sun set, hoards of people, including underage kids, were in golf carts driving around the park blasting music, screaming and setting off fireworks almost literally all night. I am not exaggerating by saying that there we at least 15 carts full of people doing this. One group did this until after 1am.

My wife and I tried everything to get it to stop. We called the office multiple times only to get a response of "well I'll send a guy to drive around". All we would see is some "ranger" conveniently drive by our tent right after these groups drove by screaming and blasting music. The office told us that they were understaffed, so they had only one person driving around to try to keep control. They acknowledged that other campers had reached out. We tried confronting the groups to stop driving by our area, only for them to get louder, drive by more often, and shoot fireworks toward us. Finally, we called the police at 1 am, only to get a voicemail. In the end, the only reason why these groups stopped being loud was because it got so late.

On top of that, since everyone was so intoxicated the bathrooms were covered in vomit and diarrhea. There is a sign that says they clean the bathrooms between 5am and 6am. It seems like that is the only time they do so.

This was the worst camping trip I have been on, and this was the first camping experience my child had, which is pretty upsetting for us. This place advertises that it is family friendly, but it is completely opposite from our experience.

My family and I just stayed at the cabins and when I say it was perfect I mean it! The cabin was cute and cozy with plenty of room for us (group of 6). We rented a golf cart which I would say is a absolute MUST. The amenities are so nice. The water park wasn't open sadly but it looked so nice and clean! The camp store was nice and clean and had everything you could need! All of the employees were friendly and extremely helpful! The only problem at the cabin was the door was a bit finicky to get to lock and unlocked and it needed a good sweep when we got there but other than that everything was perfect! We will definitely be back!
