What Guests Are Saying
Tipsaw Lake campground is a beautiful and peaceful destination with friendly and helpful camp hosts, Bobby and Janet, who enhance the camping experience. The campground features lovely wooded sites, clean restrooms, and well-maintained hiking trails, making it ideal for relaxation and nature activities. While there are some concerns about the lack of hot water in showers and the absence of a dump station, the overall experience is enjoyable, and many visitors express a desire to return.

I love this area. Nice lots and quiet atmosphere. Access to water areas for fishing is limited. There was an extreme tick issue. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I believe we may get a group site next time. A large family.

The attendant who checked us in was very helpful, and even let us go preview which site we wanted before paying.

We had a very nice time staying here. The only complaint we had, was unfortunately not just a small inconvenience. My family, the 2 other families with us, and everyone else that was in our loop all had a problem with it... (everyone was talking about it up at the bath house...). There is no hot water in the showers. Maybe for about 5 seconds.... then you're taking an ice bath. Definitely not what you want to take a shower in. The bathroom sinks had hot water, but not the showers. This was a major complaint that we all had and no one camping that weekend was happy about. I heard from one of the campers that this is not the first time they have delt with this problem, although they thought it would have been fixed by now. If you guys can get that fixed, you'd be good to go... but man, that put a damper on our trip. Who wants to take an ice cold shower every day??

The grass needed to be cut, and the dock wasn't in the water yet and the park was closed, still had a good time lots of trails to walk and very quiet.
