Nighthawk Forest campground offers a beautiful and quiet setting with well-maintained facilities, including electric hookups, water spigots, and hot showers. Guests appreciated the friendly and attentive camp host, as well as the availability of quality firewood and scenic walking trails. While some signage and water access at the dump station could be improved, overall experiences were highly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

We just stayed at this campground 10-12 Oct ‘25 and absolutely loved it! At first when we got there, we were unsure about it but by the time we had to leave, we wanted to stay longer! We will definitely come back again! There are a few things that could be different such as maybe clearer signs and water at the dump station. We were really confused when we got there but spoke to a gentleman on the phone who cleared up a lot of our confusions and also provided us with the upgraded spot (spot 8) which we are very grateful for! They have free WiFi that works well! A big beautiful pond! Very quiet, secluded and very few camp spots which we liked very much! They have a very nice self serve wood shack that you can load a cart of great quality wood and scan the QR code to pay ($10/cart). Nice walking trail into the woods. Nice areas for tent sites with a flat surface to put up a tent. Electric at each site and water spigots at most sites. Showers are right past the big polebarn that you’ll notice when you come in, which we did not utilize but did check out and they looked really nice! Booking prices were fairly cheap, no different than staying at a state park! I would highly recommend if you’re near the area or passing through!

What a great campground. Hot showers and a couple of well placed portapotties as well as electric, water and WiFi.
Very quiet. Well maintained. Camp host is friendly and attentive. Onsite firewood. Great pull through site. Cool trails nearby.

Beautiful little campground. Alongside a small pond with many hookups for rvs, and spigots for water. We tented, and our site had a fire ring, picnic table and (sand?) tent pad. $25 for the tent site. There was firewood available for purchase as well. We were traveling so I'm not sure if we'll be back, but I'd definitely stay again.

I stopped in and visited for a day while traveling. Amazing scenery. Met the host while there. Host was amazing and showed me the area. They have an amazing dog as well. Will definitely camp there next time I'm in the area.

Got to this campsite around 9pm. Not fully open for the public, but more than gracious hosts let us stay. Super hospitable, beautiful spot, remote 60 acres backed up into Hoosier National Forest. Very thankful they let us stay, will be a nice spot when fully done!
