Great campground for a weekend but without water available, other than the dump station, it is hard to extend a stay. Nicely maintained but services are minimal.

Beautiful place as long as there was a little wind to keep those nasty gnats away which all the camp grounds at Lake Rathbun are infested with. Red Rock does not have them at Howels Station so we like to go there. We would like to camp at Rathbun since we are only 20 minutes from there but the gnats are terrible.

Shower water temp way too hot. On the verge of dangerous. The park attendant is very helpful and friendly.

Not only is it a scenic place, but the hosts are about the friendliest people you'll ever meet. They obviously take a lot of pride in their campground as it's very clean inside and out. Lots of wildlife, too! Very highly recommend!

Lake Rathbun Bridgeview campground was a fairly good experience. The campground hosts were very friendly. The facilities were clean, the lake was wonderful. My only complaint was the very rude, loud people across the way from us. It was like My Name is Earl meets Trailer Park Boys. Lots of screaming, fighting, and can throwing into the wee hours of the night with no enforcement - they took away from what would have been a wonderful experience. Had it not been for the other campers I would rate this 5 stars. I'm an avid camper, used to people in campgrounds, but these people ruined the experience and nothing was done.
