What Guests Are Saying
Linder Point Campground is praised for its immaculate restrooms, spacious and well-maintained sites, and beautiful location near recreational activities like hiking and fishing. Many guests appreciate the friendly staff and the campground's cleanliness, with ample amenities such as full hookups. However, some visitors experienced issues with electricity at their reserved sites and noise disturbances, which slightly detracted from their overall enjoyment.

Cement pads. Bathrooms/shower facilities are new and are very clean. Close to walking paths and lake.

Showed up to our campsite on Friday, May 11th and there was a camper parked there. Headed to the guard shack to find out that the park ranger moved someone to our RESERVED site because those peoples site had no power. The volunteer at the guard shack was nice and let us use her daughters camp site but it was not enjoyable at all. It was very loud. The weekend before we showed up and we had no power at our RESERVED site. I am over camping at Coralville damn for a while. Keep in mind the volunteers are GREAT but the running of the campground from New York is not a good idea. Best of luck if you have future reservations.

The site was clean and spacious. The rate was $30 per night with full hookups which is incredibly cheap. I will return to this campground if we come back in the area

Loved the quietness and the darkness at night. My site was pretty level and easy to get into.

Gorgeous campground! We were in L14 and read the reviews saying it was hard to level their units. We had that problem when we first arrived, but figured it out. You just need more levelers! Yes, I agress the sight is not perfect, but it worked for us. We are looking forward to our next stay there. It was absolutely amazing!

We spent two mights at Linder Point. Concrete pads for RV, full hook-up, tree shaded, clean showers, nice hosts. Park was well maintained, pretty, near lake. Good access to Amana Colonies and Hoover Historical Park and Museum. We recommend seeing both attractions. We would stay there again.

Site 18 was beautiful, paved and level with woods on the patio side and back. Will definitely be trying to book this site again!

The Linder Point Campground, a COE park in Iowa City, IA is a find. We used 41.7245, -91.5432 to get here. I add that information because this is a small satellite site to the main park, on which I can’t comment except to note that fellow campers report the dumpsite and manned check-in booth are there. The park where we’re staying has eight 50A FHU sites and nine (?) 50A and water sites, all reservable. L01-8 are FHU and sites 01, 04, 05, 06, 07, and 08 have line-of-site to the DISH satellite constellation (L01 looks a little iffy). All sites are back-in. Two separate parking areas if your toad doesn’t fit on your site. Some sites, but not all, have a picnic table and firepit. Great place!
