The best campground we have ever stayed at!! Very well maintained and run. Best showers ever. Very flat level large rv sites. Extremely helpful and friendly workers. Nice natural history museum. Full hookups for $22!! $11 with lifetime senior pass!! Beautiful grounds and lots of wildlife.

Site W47 has to be one of, if not, the best site at W. Overlook! Right on the lake, plenty of shade and decent T-Mobile service most of the time. Well kept park with clean showers. Not a great place for kids though, other than the beach and basic playgrounds there isn't much for kids to do.

I rented a day use shelter and the picnic tables weren't standard size they were very long. I rented that shelter for my wedding. Site details are not specific so none of my fitted tablecloths would work. Lots of $ down the drain. Tried calling the number ahead of time to speak to someone and couldn't reach a human or leave a message

All the campgrounds by the Coralville Dam area are wonderful. Roads are good , the campgrounds are well maintained. Only issue was fair cellphone service.

The camp sites are nice and i love being able to see the lake from many of the sites. The worst part was the extreme heat the days of our reservation. Thats Iowa!!

Always enjoy staying at the West Overlook campground - will say the restrooms were not cleaned a couple of the days we were there so that was disappointing.
