We were there for a weekend with the grandkids it was nice the place was super clean restroom and shower the playgrounds all three were clean no trash we seen the staff cleaning up around them and can't say how nice they all were campground was full but quiet at night we walked one of the trails so nice place to stay will be back

Electrical outlet at W84 (and W83) is atrocious and in need of replacement.

We had a great time camping here. The sites are good sized and we were able to gather our group together without an issue. Only downside is that the electrical is 30 amp and with it being so hot, we had to watch our use when we were using AC. It worked out, but it is something to be aware of.

Our spot was nice and shaded. Not all sites have water and you need to get water at the station before trying to get into your site. No where does it tell you where the water is, it's at the dump station. This should be stated up front so you know to get it before. The new road the put it in for one of the loops could have been done better. Our site was harder to back in to with a 40 fifth wheel but I got it done. If the road had been made wider or they had taken out some of the hill in front of the site it would make things easier. If I go back again I have a different plan for getting into that site.

Great campground. Sites are good size with both sunny and shaded sites. We had site W37 which was great. Site was in an area up on a hill with just 4 other sites. We were overlooking a hill with a small view of the water. Highly recommend this place.

From Interstate 80 (Iowa City, IA) take Exit 244 towards Dubuque St./North Liberty. Travel north on Dubuque St. for 3 mi and turn right onto West Overlook Rd. NE. Travel on West Overlook Rd. NE for 1.1 mi. At the stop sign take a slight left turn....
From Interstate 80 (Iowa City, IA) take Exit 244 towards Dubuque St./North Liberty. Travel north on Dubuque St. for 3 mi and turn right onto West Overlook Rd. NE. Travel on West Overlook Rd. NE for 1.1 mi. At the stop sign take a slight left turn. The entrance to the West Overlook Campground will be located straight ahead.
From Interstate 380 (North Liberty, IA) take Exit 4 towards North Liberty. Travel east on W. Penn St. for 2 mi and turn right onto N Dubuque St. Travel south on N Dubuque St. for 1.9 mi, at the traffic circle, continue straight onto Dubuque St NE. Continue traveling south on Dubuque St. NE for 1.8 mi. Turn left onto West Overlook Rd. NE and travel east for 1.1 mi. At the stop sign take a slight left turn. The entrance to the West Overlook Campground will be located straight ahead.
