The restroom floors were usually full of water from the shower. They should have put another floor drain on the other side by the sink & stool. It was a poor design since they have a floor drain by the sink & stool at Sugar Bottom campground. I guess someone was just trying to save a few dollars.

Beautiful campground, amazing staff, clean restrooms, level concrete pads with lots of grass. Elec and water hookup.
Lots of cottonwood was only drawback, otherwise loved it there!

Only complaint is that they were spraying either pesticides or herbicides on the bank when camping. They were wearing protective gear and masks, so I imagine that it was poisonous and we were just breathing in all the chemicals.

the bathroom was clean and the park was well take care. the only issue was the drinking water was brown.

Lovely facility. Only problem was the water level (down to 42% of capacity, apparently), which left our western-end campground "high and dry." So check on that when you make your reservation, if using the lake/beach is key for you.

I absolutely LOVED my camping spot overlooking the river! Everyone was kind and quiet. Very safe.

From Interstate 80 (Iowa City, IA) take Exit 244 towards Dubuque St./North Liberty. Travel north on Dubuque St. for 3 miles and turn right onto West Overlook Rd. NE. Travel on West Overlook Rd. NE for 1.1 miles. At the stop sign take a slight left turn. The entrance to the West Overlook Campground will be located straight ahead.
From Interstate 380 (North Liberty, IA) take Exit 4 towards North Liberty. Travel east on W. Penn St. for 2 miles and turn right onto N Dubuque St. Travel south on N Dubuque St. for 1.9 miles, at the traffic circle, continue straight onto Dubuque St NE. Continue traveling south on Dubuque St. NE for 1.8 miles. Turn left onto West Overlook Rd. NE and travel east for 1.1 miles. At the stop sign take a slight left turn. The entrance to the West Overlook Campground will be located straight ahead.
