Nice site. Shade trees behind provided shade and nice breeze. Cement pad made leveling easy. We enjoyed our camping experience.

We stayed on a Friday and thought we had the site for two nights. We went kayaking all day Saturday and put all of our camping stuff in our tent. When we got back to the site there was another group set up on the site. Our tent had been popped out of the ground and left for anyone or I guess the new campers to move as they needed. They never did which makes me wonder why it was popped by the rangers. The ranger told me that his boss told him to pop the tent. We had to stuff all of our things in our vehicle and get what we could get out of the tent first to put it away. The whole time I'm wondering why was the tent taken down and why wouldnt they know if all of our stuff is in the tent then we were coming back or something happened.
I was very disappointed in how this was handled. We did get a call but we were on the lake and didn't get it. We were two hours past check out time which I can understand the call and the other campers but I think there should be some kind of process for campers who show up late for what ever good reason. It can't be the first time this has happened. But it was my fault for not checking my reciept for the days reserved. At any relate popping someone's tent with all there camping stuff in side doesn't help anyone. Because no one was going to move it or get inside the tent so why pop the tent. ? It was a nightmare.
