Loved the smallness of the campground with the sound of water rushing through the dam and a fishing pier right outside our door! The only bother was the camper next to us. There were bright blue camper lights up and down the sides that shown right through our bedroom windows, even with both shade pulled down. They lit up the whole bedroom! We had to tape tinfoil over them to get any sleep. I think RVs with these kind of lights should be required to turn them off after 10 pm because the visual “noise.” Thank you.

The campground has an Interesting setting, located underneath a dam. No actual water views, but judging from all the people fishing in the area, the fishing must be good. Our site was a pull-thru with full hook-ups. The sewer hook-up was not great. It stuck above the ground and there were not fittings on the pipe. We thought maybe it was just our site, but no, none of the sites had fittings either. We thought this was weird and very inconvenient.

Can be a challenge to check in if you’re not familiar with this location….several campgrounds in the area but only one ‘ranger station’ for check in. There is a phone number posted to check in as well however. Beautiful camping spot!!! We will be back:-))

Great experience - only wish is that the ice cream shop was not up the hill - but maybe that's a good thing!
