Great COE campground. Electric only sites but potable water available at the dump station and hydrants in the loops. Neat and tidy sites….not too close to your neighbor. The showers were very clean and nice. Located right on the Neal Smith bike trail.

I love this campground. As a bike rider, the Neal Smith Trail runs through the park! there are plenty of restrooms and water hydrants. I was concerned that several volunteer sites were empty which did show up in the restroom not being cleaned as often as in the past. The park has lost allot of trees in past years, especially large ash trees. If there are any upgrades planned for this park, I would certainly suggest full hook ups. I am sure I would be in the majority of that suggestion! Thanks for the much-needed additional dump stations!

Cherry Glenn campground is an older, but nice campground. Site lengths vary, but we seem to plenty of sites available for our 34’ travel trailer and tow vehicle. Sometimes you have to park across the site, but sites have plenty of green space between them. We always enjoy staying at any of the Saylorville Lake campgrounds.

Very nice place, would return for sure. Bad experience with Iowa state parks. Will not stay in one again. I will not be robbed of more money.

the view was great. The campsite was clean. Need more places to be able to take your dogs in the water.

Great location! This campground is a 10-minute drive from plenty to do in Ankney, plus the reservoir is right there, and it's connected to a very hilly bike trail (trust me, it is!).
