Great sites. Love that there concrete and the site we had was level with Great Lake views and we even had a water hydrant behind our site for water.

It would be nice if all of the sites were paved. With some full hook up sites. The grass areas need to be mowed more often. The areas of WEEDS need to also mowed, there are people with allergies that can't come out here because of the weeds. The mowing needs to go back like it was 5 to 6 years ago. Just cause it's called Prairie Flower Campground that doesn't mean people want to be around a bunch of weeds!

From I-35, take exit 90 to Ankeny/Oralabor Road and go west for 4.8 miles. The road turns into Highway 415, continue and follow signs to the campground.
Prairie Flower Recreation Area is accessible via Iowa State Highway 415, which is approximately 5 miles to the east. Interstate 80 is about 20 miles to the north.

8.3 mi drive to downtown Johnston (about 13 min)
